This is Cecily getting her first big girl haircut. This is my friend Kaaren giving Cessy a "trim." In the book "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" the mouse gets a trim. Since having her haircut she has been pretending to give us a trim. She says "Mommy sit in the Bumbo, you need a trim." And she keeps talking about Kaaren. She told me the other day that it was Kaaren's turn to put her night night. She also was pretending to take her Kitty to see Kaaren, and then went over to the kitchen drawers to pay her with tea bags ofcourse. This made quite an impression on her. I keep reiderating that we only PRETEND to give trims with our fingers. He idea of giving us a trim is twisting our hair round and round... it's actually pretty painful, but she is so cute!
