Three Weddings and a Tool Shower

Every once in a while it occurs to me that I should put more on here about what Rory and I are actually up to. Well...this spring three of "Rory's Guys" are getting married. These are three guys who pretty much started in youth group when Rory first began helping out. Travis, Drew and Richard have met wonderful women and have made a smart choice in making them their wives. Tamara and Richard get married March 20th-- Rory is the officiant of that ceremony and Jen is the wedding co-coordinator. On April 9th-- Rosie and Travis will get married, and so far we are not in charge of anything. And on May 22 Drew and Jessica are getting married and Cecily gets to be their flower girl, and Rory is helping with the wedding ceremony. On top of all the wedding ceremonies there are showers. Jen is currently transitioning out of the shower coordinator position at the church, but is still helping with these as she hands over the reigns to her wonderful and capable replacement (her friend Amy who makes all the cakes you see on this blog). Meanwhile, Rory coordinated the 'Tool Shower/ Men's breakfast for the three guys. It was an awesome time for the men of the church to speak into these young men's lives. A good time was had by all!
