Afternoon with the Daffodil Princess

The Daffodils brightening up our yard.

 Daffodils are special flowers around here. We always know it is time for Cecily's birthday when the Daffodils are up! I always love to see them out because it is the first clue that Spring is really coming. This past fall we planted 50 of them in our yard. It has been so wonderful to see them popping up!

 This year we added some extra special daffodil fun to March when the girls got to meet the Daffodil Princess. When Rory saw that she was coming to our little Library to read stories-- he knew he had to take the girls. So off they went on their Daddy Daughter Day adventure. 

Cecily wanted to bring a Daffodil from our yard to give to the Princess.

 They definitely enjoyed meeting the princess. They wore their yellow dresses for the occasion. (Couldn't have been more perfect that Cecily had her new Belle dress!). They also really enjoyed their craft time! What a special day!
