Time with some Elephants we will never forget

When in the 'Ham' do as the Bellinghamsters do.... become a tree hugger.
When Rory was in college he lived in a house known as The Elephant house. The guys he shared a roof with were known as the Elephants... and are still known to us as The Elephants. The Elephants have added wives and many, many children to this tribe. And several of the clan have migrated back to Bellingham. On this particular trip we were able to meet up with two of the original 7.
We met up with Nate and Shannon and their 5 kids in Boulevard Park (Only two are pictured). Trying to have a conversation and keep track of 7 kids between us was interesting! Truth be told, we only had two to keep track of and we were the ones loosing track of our littlest. In our defense she is sneaky and fast. Thankfully our friend Gina also joined us, she was a great help with all the kids, and it was so wonderful to see her.

Ada and Rosie...born a few weeks a part.

We also got to spend and little time at the Mauss pad. Annabelle and Cecily made fast friends. They have since become pen pals and have been known to skype every once in a great while! Rosie found their son Jack to be very fascinating. She proved to be a great conversationalist and he proved to be a great listener.
Annabelle and Cecily became Best Friends Forever in no time flat!
