In The Garden

Rosemary
Sweet Cecily

We have very good friends named Tom and Pauline who we love very much. They have a lovely garden and very peaceful home. We had the pleasure of enjoying them and their quiet place for a Sunday afternoon. As it turns out she has Rosemary and Sweet Cecily in her garden (it's actually spelled Cicily - I think-- but close enough). Here are some picture of Cecily going to collect the eggs with Pauline.

I'm ready for the eggs now! Let me hold them!

The Girls at Play

Here are a few pictures of Rosie Posie at 8 months. Let's just say, She's got Personality! Rosemary likes to be where ever Sissy is. She wants to be in the middle of the action and will not stand to be left out of anything fun. Here are some fun moments of the girls hanging out together.

May Sprouts, Teddy Bear Picinc

There is so much to love about this picture. First, I would like to point out that Rory wore his famous Bear hat. He has had this hat ever since he was a kid... and he still loves it. I remember seeing him wear it around campus occasionally up at Western. That's my husband ! :) Gotta Love Him!
Second, Notice Cecily about to take a big bite of her cupcake. This is one of her great loves!

Last, but certainly not least, notice Rosemary. She is wearing my hat and making a break for the cooler.

The following is a bonus picture... Rosemary looking cute and ready for her walk in her little bear outfit.

Story Time with Cessy

Here is Cecily reading to the babies. This is Rosemary with her BFF Naomi who was born a week before. She lives with her parents just up the street from us. It's fun to watch them grow up together.

Mother's Day Picnic

Mother's Day Out!

One of my Mother's Day wishes was to --- Get out and do something... anything really! So we met up with Rory's mom (AKA Grandma Bear) and my parents (AKA Nanny and Poppy) in Gig Harbor. They have a nice new out door shopping center (for lack of a better name). We had fun walking around and we ate at one of my favorite places Panera Bread.

We had a lovely time. Unfortunately I didn't get any shots of Nanny and Poppy. We really should have taken a picture of all the moms together. Next time!

Tether Ball King

The past two years we have held a tournament called Elementary Games as a youth group fundraiser. The whole church splits up into teams and plays each other in four square, tether ball and wall ball. Then there is a church wide dodge ball game. Along with this being a fundraiser... this is also a chance for Rory to play one of his favorite sports... Tether ball.

I am not kidding when I say this. Rory REALLY likes to play Tether ball. This is actually the third, maybe fourth time he has set up a Tether ball tournament. He is still the reigning Tether ball King... but as you can see it was a very close game. Check out these videos, they are pretty entertaining. Listen for what Cecily tells her daddy while he is playing.
